I’m rarely impressed by celebrities, but the showing at the William Rast show at New York Fashion Week was ridiculous!  (It just so happens that the owner of the line is Justin Timberlake…)  From Anna Wintour to JC Chasez and Paris Hilton.  We sat behind Jessica Biel and rubbed elbows with Erin Lucas and Samanatha from MTV’s The City ( btw I totally take back what I said about Erin before, she’s a total sweetheart in person and so beautiful! )

After the show we even ended up sitting next to Kelly Pickler and Kathrine McPhee at dinner at Koi at the Bryant Park Hotel down the block! Talk about celebrity overload!  Kelly had a hot pair of ruby red sandels on and apparently just got a new tattoo on the inside of her left arm, and Katherine keeps getting some scandolous/drama text messages on her iPhone the whole dinner…

lol too many new BFFs to keep track of, I might need to learn a thing or two from Paris :-p

Tim Sullivan, the Sake Samurai

Just went to a Sake tasting class at Astor Center in NY.  Tim Sullivan is a real “Sake Samurai” (it’s a real title).  Just like Tim Gunn IS Fashion, Tim Sullivan IS Sake.

7 glasses later, this is my favorite bottle – The Narutatai Ginjo Nama Genshu, fortified so it’s smooth, unpasterized so it has the “zing”, and at full cask strength so uhh… it gets you drunker.  Lol what’s not to love?

After more than a decade, Guns N Roses (well pretty much just Axl Rose at this point) finally releases the long anticipated album Chinese Democracy.

Earlier in March, Dr. Pepper has offered to give free Dr. Pepper to EVERYONE in United States if the album is released this year. And with yesterday’s album release, Dr. Pepper honors its promise by allowing people to download a coupon from its website good for redeeming a free Dr. Pepper.

Except there were so many people flooding to the website that it crashed for most of yesterday. So the folks over at Dr. Pepper extended the offer for another day, good until 6 P.M. today! So go get your free drink!

Don’t you hate when you have that one really bad picture that just keeps popping up everywhere? Lindsay Lohan can relate. That poor girl’s mug shot has been splashed over countless internet sites worldwide and now appears in an ad from the liquor industry put in USA TODAY magazine. The ad is for ignition interlocks with a picture of Lohan’s big ol’ mug right under it saying they are a good idea for her, but not a good idea for us. The “us” are regular people casually (and I use that term loosely) drinking.
Lindsay is fighting back though. Her lawyer has already issued a statement to TMZ saying that the ad suggests drinking and driving is an American tradition we should protect and by not stating that the ad is paid for by the liquor industry, is to put it bluntly, shady. Lohan is also looking to see if she can sue for her image being used for commercial gain without consent.

I am very against drunk driving, as we all should be, and in no way do I condone what Lindsay Lohan does behind the wheel but good for her for taking a stand! This may be one battle she can win.

Justin Timberlake opened his new restaurant last night on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Memphis BBQ-style eatery is called Southern Hospitality and it’s menu includes foods like corn fritters, spare ribs and fried chicken. Sounds delicious! Timberlake had the walls of the restaurant decorated with things found in Memphis flea markets to try and give customers a real Memphis feel. Doors open to the public today so go check it out!

Taco Bell has taken notice of Fergie‘s obsession and free publicity and they want to thank her! Greg Creed, the President of Taco Bell sent The Dutchess a letter offering her an “ultimate after-party” at any local Taco Bell near a stop on her concert tour. Fergie and her fans can recieve FREE Extreme Cheese and Beef Quesadillas for three hours following one of her shows. All Fergie has to do is contact them a week in advance. How can you go wrong with Fergie AND free Taco Bell? That’s Hot. I want to go!!

Food Network is one of my addictions. A pretty decent cook myself, I love watching shows on the Food Network. My favorite person on Food Network has to be Rachel Ray, she is just sooo happy all the time!! lol I swear she’s like me on E! haha (and I don’t mean the TV network lol). She has these corny shows like “$40 A Day” where she has to find good cheap food in a new city for less than $40 a day. I just love her persona, very genuine, very down to earth. She even has her own day time talk show on real network now, it’s amazing! My least favrote person has to be Bobby Flay, he has to be the most cocky obnoxious person on Food Network, he thinks he’s the best, I mean when I heard he got picked to be one of the 3 original Iron Chef America on the show, I was like “Great, like he needs anymore ego boosting!”. I mean I’ve seen episodes where the man literally corrects everything the judges said about his food implying that they don’t know what they are talking about!!

So when I heard that Iron Chef America is having an All Star Battle including Rachel and Bobby, imagine my excitement and nervuousness! I mean imagine if they put Rachel and Bobby on the same team!! I would’ve shoot myself cuz I wouldn’t be able to handle the psychological conflict lol. Good thing they paired Rachel up with Mario Batali (another pompous star chef, but much better manners than Flay in my book), and Bobby got Giada De Laurentiis (total hottie with the perfect flawless accent, star of Everyday Italian) as his partner.

The secret ingredient is “Cranberry”, both teams have 60 minutes to prepare 4 – 5 dishes based on that theme. After an hour of intense cooking, Team Bobby/Giada serves up cranberry/goat cheese French toast stack; butternut squash/cranberry ravioli; cranberry duck confit tamales; cranberry venison osso buco with a cranberry risotto; and cranberry zepoli with cranberry simple syrup. Team Rachel/Mario serves up pancetta wrapped, sage infused shrimp on a cranberry “polenta”; cranberry tempura cod cheeks on a salad of grapes and cranberries; cranberry sausage ragout on a wine soaked bucatini; cranberry turkey osso buco; cranberry panettone zuppa inglese. Final Score? – Bobby/Giada 46 points, Rachel/Mario 53 points. Team Rachel/Mario wins!! YEESSSS!!! HOTNESS!!

lol Bobby and Giada clearly hates Rachel, and Mario is probably shaking his head thinking he has to carry the wright of the whole team and wishes Rachel would just stop talking (she doesn’t lol), but who cares, in the end Good triumphs! That’ll teach Bobby Flay to be cocky in the future – you can’t even cook cranberry better than a cook with no formal training!! Hahah!!

Last night we hosted a party at Stereo for Kevin Federline and Britney Spears. Well Brit Brit actually never showed for some reason, but K-Fed was in full force, performing songs from his album, nobody can even shut him up lol. I even got into a fight with his crew and bitched him out at the end of the night but that’s another story lol.

So the liquor sponsor for this whole event was Van Gogh vodka. And it just so happens that the executives from Van Gogh vodka was sitting at the table right next to our table. So one thing led to another, we were soon all drinking and dancing on top of couches together. They brought out like 4 different flavors of vodka, and the best is the Double Espresso version. it’s basically caffeine infused vodka , tastes like a chocolate martini straight from the bottle!! We were having it straight on the rocks all night. Wheew, that was some good stuff!! lol which might explain why I wasn’t shy about yelling at K-Fed later in the night. Van Gogh Double Espresso is definitely my fave flavored vodka now, HOTT!!

I’m a bit of an Informercial Junkie… I come home from the clubs, I turn on TV, and daze and marvel at all the crazy inventions they have on all the informercials late night. My favorite is the Rotissarie – you SET IT AND FORGET IT!! haha you know what I’m talking about, don’t pretend! I’ve bought everything from the Foreman Grill to the 5 Star Knife set. The latest is the GT Express 101 (very odd name, sounds like some freshmen required course at college lol), it’s basically like a Foreman Grill, but has two half-moon shaped cooking/baking wells instead of the grill surface – Oh the possibilities!! haha First they dropped the price to $19.95 per payment, then they knock out one full payment, so it’s only 2 Easy Payments of $19.95, then they offered a 2nd one for FREE if I call within the next 15 minutes!! hahaha, I know all the sales pitch gimmicks. At that point, I couldn’t AFFORD NOT TO GET IT!! LoL! So I gave one to my best friend Amy, and the first thing we made on it is this receipe called “Stuffed Soup”!! You take a can of chicken corn chowder and pour it over stuffing and basically baked it in the GT Express 101 for like 5 minutes. Let me tell you, it’s AMAZING!! Mmmm… It’s on my hot list! Now I just have to try out the 100 other receipes that came with it… Looks I’ll be having a lot of carbs, watch out!!
