On tuesday night, Snoop Dogg went on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno, performing and promoting his new album The Blue Carpet Treatment (selling over a quarter million copies last week, not bad for 5th week after the release). As he was leaving the NBC studios in Burbank, CA, police pulled him over and searched his car and found cocaine, marijuana and a gun. He was arrested, then out on bail Wednesday morning on $60,000 bond.

This is the 3rd time he’s been arrested in the last 3 months, poor Snoop was even banned from the UK FOR LIFE last month because of a brawl at Heathrow Airport. Now that was harsh! Ouch! Not Hot for Snoop!!

Today was the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center in New York. Me and Amy went by (in a crowd of like a million bridge and tunnel people lol) and saw John Legend and Lionel Richie perform, and X-tina (Christina Aguilera) also came out and sang at the ice rink. At 7 pm the tree was all lit up… Aww… They had these huge search lights projecting these huge snow flakes on the Rockefeller Center building right behind the Christmas tree so it looks like it’s snowing, it’s beautiful. I’m going to have to give it a HOT rating. The Holiday shopping season is here!! Yay!

Ok, so listen up Britney - we know now you are independent woman, we know that you need to drum up some publicity for your upcoming new album, but you think you can do it while keeping your panties on??

Since Britney Spears filed for divorce from K-Fed-Ex, she’s been best friends with Paris Hilton apparently. The two seems inseperable, goign on shopping sprees during the day and hitting up hot clubs at night in both Vegas and LA. Paris has been crashing over at Britney’s pad in Malibu a lot, and from the looks of it, Britney’s been getting tips from the party princess herself on how to feed the paparazzi frenzy.

These pictures were taken last Friday when Britney was stepping out of Paris’ car on their way to a club. (Sorry, I’m not putting up the full version without the dot cuz it’s not that pleasant, search for it online if you want, it’s all over the place). Apparently underwear is optional at where these two are going. But Britney - You are a monther of two and Paris has a sex video out so there are some differences!!

Then on Sunday, Britney’s ass was photo’ed by paparozzi while she was puking her guts out after a night of hard partying. lol I totally respect bootin’ and rallyin’, I do that like every other month myself, but Britney - You are in the midst of a custody battle with your loser ex K-Fed! Do you really want him to use this against you at the hearing and say you are an unfit mother and take away your children just so you can support his going-no-where-rapper-wannabe ass??

Think about it Britney! We love you but this is not hot!

If you haven’t heard about Leona Lewis yet, YOU WILL! She’s the hottest new singer on UK’s hit show X-Factor, which is pretty much the British version of American Idol, even with Simon Cowell as one of the judges, as well as Sharon Osbourne and another old British guy that nobody cares about.

Leona has been giving FLAWLESS performances week after week. It’s unbelievable how good she is! Having worked in the music industry for years and having been in recording studios with some of the best pop singers in our time, I have to say that Leona Lewis is probably the best female vocalist I’ve ever heard! No Joke! She’s a young Mariah Carey with the soulfulness of Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera. Even Simon who’s known for putting down all the contestants has said week after week that Leona is going to be huge both in the UK and the US. I can’t wait for her to win the whole show and put out an album and come over to the U.S. She’s amazing!

It’s Thanksgiving night, I made a huge roasted Turkey with all the trimmings for six of my friends who were all stuck in the city not back home with their families. After a tad bit much wine and waaayy too much food, we all went to see the new movie Bobby that just opened in theatres. It takes place on the day that Senator Robert F Kennedy was assasinated following his victory in the California Primary in 1968. The story was told through the day of the lives of 22 individuals who were all staying at the Ambassador Hotel that fateful night. It features an All-Star ensemble cast, including Nick Cannon, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan, Willam H Macy, Demi Moore, Freddy Rodriguez, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Sharon Stone, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Elijah Wood and more… The most amazing part is, all of these A-list actors and actresses did the movie practically for free! Everyone got paid Scale + 10, which means they all got paid 10% above what union considers as minimum wage for actors! It took Emilion Estevez (part of former 80s “Brat Pack”, Martin Sheen’s oldest son) 7 years to write the film, and he also directed it as well. They didn’t really use an actor to play the part of Bobby Kennedy, instead, the movie was interlaced with actual news-reel footages of Bobby Kennedy visiting different parts of the country, giving speeches, etc. It was a very HONEST and SINCERE movie. The movie was powerful and moving. We need more leaders like Bobby Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King today. We need politicians who actually care and is willing to put themselves on the line to create a better world for the rest of us, even die for their beliefs. You definitely have to see this movie. I leave you with this quote from the Robert F Kennedy, “Few will have the greatness to bend history; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events.” I hope we can all keep this in mind as we go through our day and maybe, just maybe we can make a difference in someone’s life.

Back in September Jessica Simpson denied that she was going out with John Mayer, but this past week the two have been spotted all over LA, having lunch together, having drinks, rubbing each other’s backs, holding hands, “canoodling”, and the latest sighting has been John Mayer and Jessica along with Papa Joe Simpson and Ashlee at LAX airport earlier today - right before Thanksgiving!! Perhaps heading for Texas where Jessica’s whole family is… Wooooah, This is getting juicy!

Nevertheless, I’m going to say at this time it’s NOT HOT for John Mayer to get with Jessica Simpson. I mean yes, he’s very talented, and she’s beautiful, and YES it’s hard for nerd folk rocker to get laid with pop hottie, so I completely understand he’s gotta get some when he can… BUT does anyone think this is a good match? I mean come on?! What does these two possible have in common to talk about?

Oh yea, I’m not saying it’s not hot just because John dropped out of our iPod Nike+ race, sure he had better things to do like his tour and publishing his book… lol too busy to compete with me online? I think maybe he’s just pissed off I beat him in the first round…

So ex-American Idol Clay Aiken was filling in and co-hosting Live with Regis and Kelly with Kelly Ripa last Friday, he was trying to be cute and making fun of Kelly throughout the show, and at one point put his hand over Kelly’s mouth to shut her up, which TOTALLY pissed off Kelly Ripa. The worst part is, not only did Kelly totally bitched and whined about it on her show yesterday, earlier today Rosie O’Donnell had a whole segment on The View about it. While Rosie was trying to defend Clay, she inadvertently outed him as GAY! She said something like Kelly’s homophobic and wouldn’t minded if a heterosexual man put his hand over her mouth - which practically is saying Clay Aiken is homosexual! Watch this clip on YouTube, you’ll understand how everything unfolded, the clip is kinda long, but pretty funny. Ahhh celebrity feuds, SO not hot, but gotta love it!

Ok before I begin, YOU MUST WATCH THIS CLIP on YouTube! It’s genius! Somebody made an entire wedding video for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes using Sims characters! It’s hilarious, especially the ending, watch it now! Gosh YouTube is great… how did we live without it before? lol

Now I’ve been biting my tongue and holding back for quite a while now. Kinda want to be a responsible journalist and following the “if I have nothing good to say, don’t say it at all” rule. Oh but who am I kidding, this is great gossip and celebrity mayhem, I can never pass this up! haha.

Tom and Katie has been together for 18 months now. Katie gave birth to a baby girl Suri during their engagement, and yesterday (Saturday Nov 18th) the happy couple finally wed in a gorgeous 15th century castle located in BRACCIANO, Italy, a lakeside town just outside of Rome, where the two first met. It’s called “The Wedding Of the Year“, filled with celebrity guests including J.Lo, Mark Anthony, Posh Spice (David Beckham had to be at soccer training), Jim Carey, Jenny McCarthy, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Brooke Shields, etc. The happy coupel exchanged vows and apparently shared what guests describe as “a never-ending kiss”… lol all captured in our YouTube video above.
I like them both, I do! I even dated a girl that thinks she looks like Katie Holmes. And I really wish the two all the happiness in the world. But there are just a few mysteries surrounding these two…

Mystery #1 How did Tom grew 3 or 4 inches on wedding day?! Pic on the left is taken on the wedding day (btw gorgeous gown and suit both designed by Giorgio Armani), but clearly we can see from virtually all past photographs that Tom is at least 2 inches shorter than Katie normally. Those must be some magic shoes Tom’s wearing at the wedding!

Mystery #2 I feel awful even bringing this up, cuz baby Suri is so adorable and she really doesn’t deserve to be thrusted in all the tabloid gossip as soon as she was born. I just can’t help being some what skeptical about how fertile Tom is. Years with Nicole Kidman (and before that Mimi Rogers) didn’t produce any little Toms, in fact Tom and Nicole adopted 2 children during their marriage cuz he couldn’t get her pregnant. Oh yea, plus the fact Tom Cruise is gay!! Ok ok it’s not a fact, but it’s been rumored for a while now, and you know the rule of thumb in Hollywood - Gay rumors usually turn out true! And look at the picture - I’m not saying the baby looks more like Chris Klein (Katie Holme’s ex for 5 years) than Tom Cruise, but you be the judge…

Mystery #3 Well it’s not so much of a mystery, but a NOT HOT list by Tom. First there’s Oprah, who didn’t get invited to the wedding, presumebly because she said that she thought Tom jumping up and down on the couch at her show was just an act to promote his movie. Second there’s Matt Lauer, who had a huge fight with Tom last year on his show talking about prescription antidepressants (happy drugs yay! lol). The third is Sumner Redstone, head of Viacom/Paramount, who fired Tom Cruise after Mission Impossible 3 because Tom was too dedicated to Scientology and not dedicated enough to do a good job promoting his movie (I agree with you totally Mr. Redstone. Now can you hire me to run MTV for you? I would kick ass I assure you and Tom Cruise would never be a guest on TRL I promise! lol). The fourth one has to be the reporter that squirted Tom Cruise with water from a fake microphone at a London premiere, that really pissed him off lol.

Oh yea, after posting this entry, I’m pretty sure I would be the fifth person on Tom’s NOT HOT list, if he gives a damn about what I write, haha.

Playstation 3 is probably the most hyped new game console, promising next generation graphics, internet and wireless capabilities, Blue Ray technology, blah blah. Since the Playstation 2 sold over 200 million units worldwide, you can imagine the demand all the hype has generated. But Sony has had a really rough year, and all the production and technical problems all lead to an EXTREMELY limited supply of available PS3 systems. Sony promised 400,000 units in the US by today for the launch, and 1 million units by year end, but most analyst are estimating only 200,000 units are available today. The Sony flagship store in New York had only 500 units available at midnight as they opened to thousands of nerds who have been camping outside for as long as since Sunday!! Imagine thousands of un-bathed nerds stinking up Madison Avenue huddling under make-shift canopies to stay out of the rain and playing Dungeons and Dragons card games to pass the time for the last 5 days! Oh my!

Around the country and around the world it’s even worse. In Conneticut armed robber shot a man waiting outside a store in line to get a PS3 when he refused to hand over the money. In California police shut down a store after a man ran into a pole knocking himself out while racing against 50 other guys to be the first to get in the store. In Japan most of the early purchasers turned out to be poor homeless Chinese men hired by Japanese businessmen to wait in line and purchase the unit so they can resale them online later for a profit. In Europe the PS3 never even hit the shelves, the entire launch was pulled and delayed until at least March 2007!

As wonderful as the PS3 system may be (I would not know for sure since Sony apparently forgot to send me a preview unit - Listen Sony, take some ques from Nintendo in that department lol), at a hefty $500 price tag for the basic version and as much as $600 for the premium version, it is just a hard sell against Xbox 360’s slashed down $300 price, and Nintend Wii’s $250 price tag with 2-3 million launch units availble and anticipated to be sold out when it hits store shelves tomorrow. As much as I love the Playstation platform and probably will get one soon anyway, the launch was a disaster, and totally NOT HOT!

The new 007 flick Casino Royale opens in theatres tomorrow. Fortunately I was able to get in the advanced screening today, and let me tell you, it’s worth calling in the favors for this one. Daniel Craig is the new Bond, more rugged than Pierece Brosnan I must say. The storyline takes you back to the beginning of Bond, on his first assignment after being promtoed to a double 0 agent, although the time period is set to current date. Aside from the excessive use of “text messaging” on Sony Eriksson phones as the main spy gadget and frequent flashbacks to Wolrd-Poker-Tournament-episode-esque moments, the whole movie is AWESOME! Daniel is more physical than most previous Bonds, relying more on muscle and stength than gadgets (don’t worry, there’s still plenty of toys, include a sick sick Bentley). There were incredible fight scenes and chase scenes on foot. The first 80% of the movie is non-stop heart-pounding action, then it screech to a halt. But just as you start to wonder why the movie isn’t over yet - another twist! And the action picks up again!
